I attended Pinecrest School from approximately 1971 through
1975 for pre-k through the second grade. During that time I was living with my beloved grandmother, Martha Dordigan. Those few years I was lucky enough to spend attending Pinecrest were some of the happiest days of my life. I remember Mrs. Edna Mae Dye very well, and still have my report cards which were signed by her!
There is one person from my childhood who I have always wondered about and I thought this might be a way to find her. Her name is/was Kelly Sullivan and she was my dearest friend back then. If you're out there Kelly, I would love to hear from you.
My father remarried in 1975 and the family relocated first to Long Beach and then to the San Bernardino Mtns.
I am currently living on the east coast with my family and am enjoying raising two little girls. My husband is a pilot for Southwest Airlines so I try to get back to see my family in the valley whenever I can!
It was great to find this website and think of all of the good memories that Pinecrest brings back. If we lived locally, I would definitely send my children. I learned so much during some of the most important years in a child's life. Thank you! Email (3/24/07) |
