Laurin Laubacher, attended until '98 - Woodland Hills Campus |
| I would have been the class of '98. However, I left in '96 to San Jose, CA. I attended Pinecrest from the 2nd-6th grade. I had some of the best years in school there. I was involved in a lot of the sports and met a lot of great friends. I lost contact with them all when I was in High school. I would love to reconnect with anyone. I still come to the valley from time to time to visit my family. Email (3/30/08) |

| Wow, how time flies while you’re having fun! Reading these posts bring me back in time and many, many memories. My Pinecrest memoirs start with, not that I remember that far back, my first teacher in school, Ms. Betty Monello. I’m very happy to see her continuing the Dye and Ms. Dorthy White’s legacy. I can’t believe some of the same teachers that shaped my life are still hard at work molding the future. Mr Pomerantz and Mrs. Mathis were two of these outstanding teachers. Others included, Senor Campo, Greg Baltad, Mr. White, Mrs. Afriat, to name a few. I truly believe without my experiences at Pinecrest I wouldn’t have prospered in life like I have. I’ve since retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years touring the world and currently a partner of a business in Phoenix, Arizona. Email (3/17/08) |

| I have a lot of fond memories of my time spent at Pinecrest. Looking back, the individual attention I received as a student was invaluable to my development. Being able to learn in that environment was nothing short of beneficial. I took some time to look at the current Staff Directory and was amazed that a lot of my previous teachers are still working at Pinecrest. That is truly astonishing and speaks bounds for the dedication of their staff. I moved from Southern California in the summer of '92, shortly after my graduation from the sixth grade at Pinecrest. I finished my education in Arizona, where I have a degree in Business and Psychology from Arizona State University. I am currently living in Las Vegas working for Pitney Bowes as an Operations Manager. Email (2/29/08) |

| As a 1995 Founder Award winner at Pinecrest Woodland Hills, I am happy to join this alumni forum. I am now working at a CPA office here in the San Fernando Valley. I look back on my Pinecrest years as some of the best in my life. I still keep in touch with a few Pinecrest kids from time to time. I believe the classes of 1994 and 1995 were like true family. We grew up together. And because of that, the Woodland Hills Pinecrest added on 7th and 8th grade to keep us together. I would like to say that my english teacher Mrs. Brown was the best teacher I ever had. And one of the best volleyball coaches also. Thank you Pinecrest for shaping me into the woman that I am. | Pinecrest offered the best all around education I could envision for any child. I am constantly trying to create a similar vibe at the middle school I work at by adopting Pinecrest philosophies. Email (2/15/08) |

| I'm now 40 and have 3 teenage daughters. My Kindergarden Teacher was Miss Stephanie and my 1st Grade teacher was Miss Tice/Grace. I have a lot of great memories of Pinecrest and the summers were the best. I remember the go-carts and horsebackriding. Spent a few times in Mrs White Office as well. She would let me brush her hair for her. Email (12/18/07) |

| I have not been up to much lately. I am now attending my
second year at Pierce College. If you do not remember me from the 7th and
8th grades it is because financial hardships made it impossible for me to
continue attending the school after the 6th grade, otherwise i was there
from preschool all the way up to 6th. Email (10/14/07) |

I am now entering my senior year at Nordhoff High School, in beautiful Ojai CA. ( it's near Ventura) I am very much involved at school and in the community. I'm involved in almost every theatre production in town. I'm also an avid member of my school's award winning Music department. On April 24th 2007 we performed at Carniege Hall in NYC, which was alot of fun. I'm involved in Choir, Drumline ( cymbals, bass drum, and
pit) and the wonderful Nordhoff spring musical. We just put on Anything Goes in which I was a lead. I have grown and changed so much since I left Pinecrest. I'm much more comfortable with myself. Pinecrest was alot of fun, and i'm glad I went there. (7/3/07) |

Pinecrest so instilled in me the love for education, that I dedicated my graduate degree to Higher Education Administration, and I now serve as the Program Manager for the USC Marshall Executive MBA. I will soon begin my doctorate program and continue serving in higher ed. I look at the students under my charge, and remember the days when Mr. Pomerantz, or Ms. Mathis would challenge me, to bring out the best in me. I'm grateful to them, and I will always remember my days as a Pinecrest kid!!! Email (5/21/07) |

38 year-old mother of two. Happily married stay-at-home mom and children's clothing designer. Volunteer at my child's Christian school. I have great memories of Pinecrest. It was a one-of-a-kind school. Mrs. Fisher, my first grade teacher is the one I remember the best and my favorite, as well as Mrs. Mathis too. I remember having to stand when Mrs. White entered a class room and say good morning. I loved the summer camp too! Email (5/8/07) |
