May 12, 2008 - All eyes were on the young athletes of "Wheels of Freestyle" as they
performed incredible stunts for our students. The wheelies, jumps and flips
amazed the audience. They began with intricate tricks on their bicycles,
spinning and riding, sometimes backwards. The large ramp placed on the yard
was the center for the most astounding jumps, as the freestylers seemed to
jump above the clouds.
Along with their fantastic stunts, the students
were delivered an important anti-drug and anti-violence message, encouraging
them to follow their dreams and not get caught up in negative behaviors that
can ruin their lives. The importance of bicycle safety including wearing a
helmet was also emphasized to the students.
