
What is the Pinecrest Northridge Booster Club?
The Booster Club is comprised of concerned parents, teachers & staff members at Pinecrest Northridge. The focus is to enhance & support our children's educational experience. Involvement is strictly on a voluntary basis, and can mean anything from coming to our activities, attending our regular meetings (where we plan our events and goals), and/or helping at the events. Basically, you can jump in anywhere and we will be grateful!
Although the Booster Club does not establish school curriculum or policy, we plan to be more than meetings and food. The purpose of the Pinecrest Northridge Booster Club is to:
1. Promote school spirit & pride by organizing and providing assistance with activities that encourage student and family participation.
2. Enhance the effectiveness of the school's objectives by supplying funding for student activities and/or school accessories not normally provided by tuition.
3. Provide support for the teachers and school staff.
4. Promote open communication between parents and teachers.
We welcome your ideas and suggestions, but most importantly, we need your involvement. Even if you only have a few hours to spare this school year, you can help! The Booster Club is a group effort and the bigger the group, the greater the accomplishment. Watch for announcements of upcoming meetings and events. Please join us!
