Sign-In and Sign-Out
Every child must be signed in every morning in the classroom. An approved adult must sign out your child in the classroom before the child leaves the premises. This is state law. Our insurance prohibits friends and relatives from playing on the playground equipment.
Parking
Please use caution when driving through our parking lot. Please drive through the lot East to West only. Do not enter from Amestoy Avenue. We have parking spaces provided for your convenience. Please be sure to hold your child's hand to and from the front gate. Remember that our behavior sets an example for our children.
Tardiness
We prefer that children arrive by 9:00 a.m. We do not want the children to miss any instruction. If the children all arrive ready to begin their program at 9:00, the transition is much easier for the children and the teachers. If your child will arrive late for any reason, please contact the school office before 9:00 a.m.

Illness
If your child has diarrhea, vomiting or a fever in the evening or during the night, he/she may not attend school until the child is symptom-free for 24 hours. The same applies for children sent home from school with any of the above symptoms. No child will be accepted back to school the day after being sent home ill.
Absenteeism
We would appreciate a phone call when your child is going to be absent. Also, please let us know if your child has a communicable disease.
Dismissal Authorization
Please inform us with a note or phone call if someone other than those you have originally authorized will be picking up your child. The authorized person must be over 18 years of age and present a photo I.D. Please remember that your child must be signed in and out each day.

Medication
As a service to our parents, the office staff will administer medication prescribed by your physician. All medications (prescriptive and over the counter), including topical, are given as a courtesy at 12:00 and/or 3:00. Medications must be in the original container with the child's name on the label, as well as the prescription number, name of the medication, dosage, and expiration dates. Please add the child's room number. A "Permission to Administer Medication" form can be found in the preschool office and it must accompany the medication. The form will be applicable for no more than 10 days.
Lost and Found
Please mark all items of personal property. We will make every attempt to locate and return any lost items. This task is much easier if your child's name is on the items. We cannot be responsible for any personal items that your child may bring to school.
Dress Code
No open toed shoes, sandals, jellies or cowboy boots are permitted. Little toes are easily hurt and children have a difficult time on the playground. We also prefer that children do not wear jewelry.

Cartoon Characters
Since the introduction of "Power Rangers," we have experienced more aggressive behavior as well as injuries to children. The children are trying to mimic these characters and are hurting themselves as well as others. We will not allow Power Rangers, Pokemon, Power Puff Girls or G.I. Joe. We also will not allow any violent toys, videotapes, books, guns or swords.
Share Day
Share day is every Friday. Your child may bring one toy to share with his/her class. Books and cassettes are welcome at any time.
Birthdays
Your child may bring in cupcakes or cookies to share with their class. Please notify your child's teacher in advance.
