Thank you for visiting our web site. We are extremely proud of our strong academic curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and child care services.
Classes begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 2:30 PM for Kindergarten. 1st through 3rd grade classes begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 3:30 PM. 4th through 6th grade classes begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 3:30 PM. Class hours may differ at some campuses. The campus is open from 6:30 AM until 6:30 PM. Supervised child care is offered at no additional charge for the hours before and after programmed classes.
Hot Lunches are available for $950.00 per academic year for Kindergarten through Grade Three. For Grades Four through Six, the charge is $1015.00. An application Fee of $100.00 is required for new Pinecrest students. A Fee of $100.00 is required for Foreign Exchange Students. All tuition payments are due on or before the 10th of each month beginning September 1 and concluding June 1. A $40.00 service charge is imposed if payment is not received by the 10th of each month.
Our academic year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day in September and usually extends through the third Friday in June. A complete summer camp program is offered during July and August. Activities include swimming, crafts, sports, games and field trips. A six-week Summer School session offers students the opportunity to maintain math and reading skills between school terms.
HOW TO APPLY
Admission requirements include a personal interview with parent and child, and a review of previous scholastic records, test scores and recommendations. An evaluation will then be made by the interviewing administrator as to appropriate placement. To begin the process, application forms may be picked up in our office, or requested online or by phone at (805) 497-8533.
Pinecrest accepts children from all religious, social, ethnic and racial backgrounds who meet entrance requirements.
