5th Grade Social Studies Project

The 5th graders were given the task of creating an imaginary state and mapping it out! They could use any materials they wished to give it a 3-D effect. They named all the physical features on their state map, included a legend or key of the physical features and natural resources, and added a creative compass rose and flag. The students presented some very interesting results, as you'll see from the examples below.
