February 2008 - As a part of the Science curriculum, 6th graders regularly perform science experiments. In the Science lab shown here, students mixed substances together to see how their chemical properties changed. What happens when we mix talcom powder with water, vinegar, or iodine? What can we mix together to simulate volcanic activity? Which substance are soluble? What does soluble mean? These were some of the questions answered in our Chemical Properties lab.
